Matt and Lyndsey Deaville, Pastoral Assistants
Ps Matt was a youth pastor for many years, and was more recently involved in overseeing the training of emerging leaders in Hope City Church, Sheffield. Ps Lyndsey oversee the finances of the church and make no mistake, she loves life and enjoys practical joking. Matt, however, supports Stoke City FC which is surely the ultimate practical joke.
Joel and Becky Weaver, Student and Young Adult Pastors Ps Becky is insightful and has a massive heart for helping those who have been alienated in life. She has a great passion to see people succeed and have incredible influence in their world. Joel and Becky have a heart to reach the university campuses with a relevant and life changing message, and also to see every young adult become a massive success in life.
Mark (Foz) and Emily Foster, Youth Pastors After receiving a degree in sports management, Ps Mark became the Youth Pastor at Hope City Church, Sheffield, four years ago. Mark and Emily have worked in the schools in the city as well as running one of the most creative and dynamic youth programs in the nation. Ps Mark is a principal worship leader in church as well as in the Audacious band. His enthusiasm and zeal is contagious, and he is an exceptional preacher! Ps Emily, apart from being Youth Pastor, has the enviable task of being personal assistant to Senior Pastors Glyn and Sophia. Her role involves overseeing their ministry diaries, national and international tours, as well as running all operations associated with Audacious. Mark passionately supports Man Utd, whilst Emily's first premiership visit was to see Man City play. Needless to say, there is tension on derby day!
Jenni Dring, Children's Pastor Jen is a principal worship leader in church as well as in the Audacious band. She has an amazing voice, and originates from a very musical family (much like the Von Trapp family). She has a heart to see the children become everything they were meant to be. Your kids will love Jen and she will love them! |
Hailing from Stoke-on-Trent, Matt and Lyndsey are an amazing couple. With big hearts that carry a lot of love and care for people, they ensure that the pastoral care network within the church is at its best
Joel and Becky love life. As a musician, Ps Joel is excellent on the bass, guitar and drums (which he won in a competition from McFly.) He is the principle song writer for the Audacious band and many of the songs sung in church are written by him.
Mark and Emily, both originally from Stratford upon Avon, are "the best youth pastors you could ever possibly have." 
Jenni is one of the zaniest people you will ever meet. Currently studying Biblical Theology at university, Jen is intelligent, fun, witty and loves life.
